SAIL&CLIMB IN
TRIESTE
Trieste and its Gulf offer sailing and navigation with views of the Karst and the Trieste coast. The moorings will be moored to leave for this journey on the sailing boat. A vintage yacht, the Roberta III, will make you relive the charm of the ancient and classic Adriatic seafaring, at the slow pace of sailing, in a multi-ethnic land with a unique combination of land & sea. Sailing is combined with land-based trekking and climbing activities. For those who wish, there is also the opportunity to visit the historical places of Venezia Giulia: the castle of Miramare and Duino.
No sailing skills are required from the participants. For those wishing to try rock climbing for the first time, they will visit cliffs with a multitude of grades and difficulties, suitable for both the novice and the expert.
On the boat, sailing in the afternoon, we could relax at sunset with good food and local wine, after a sail in the Gulf of Trieste. Using a dinghy, we can easily reach the beaches and moorings. We will walk along panoramic paths that start directly from the sea, to take us to the base of the cliffs, from which, once we have put on the equipment, we will climb.

Difficulty: Moderate
The Sail & Climb is a moderate program of climbing activity. You will have an average 1-2 hours of daily trek to reach the cliffs. If you will prefer, there is the option to stay on the sailing boat and just enjoy the sea or have a Sail & Hike program. All your personal equipment will be staying on the boat. You will walk just with your personal climbing gear and a small daily backpack. The technical gear will be provided by the mountain guide.
